As soon as I have time, which is prolly right after this post…since my “life” is so fucking busy and everything… I’ll do up a version for IE7 and FF.. I’ll keep you updated then… tata..

Yes! I went at it again god damn it lmao!1

I just spent today applying the fixes and such to the “original” default 1.5 theme. As you can see on the demo blog now, I’m currently using the theme I just worked on today. Here below is what was done.

I basically kept the same structure of the Default 1.5 theme by Michael Heilemann. However, there have been a few on going issues with the theme, until now.

Here below is what I had “fixed” and “changed” for this theme.

1.) The search button will be up beside the search input field in Opera, Internet Explorer, and Firefox.

2.) That ugly 1px footer and header shift is fixed, while viewing in Opera, Internet Explorer, and Firefox.

3.) You will have everything in the sidebar, listed on all the pages, instead of just the index page.

4.) I have also added some of the original CSS coding from the header.php file, right into the main style.css file. I was going to try to do that with all of the codes, but for some reason, IE6 just didn’t want to work with me. =( Go figure right?

I also cleaned up the CSS file a little.. =)

5.) I made this default 1.5 Widget friendly as well. =) I replaced the original functions.php and sidebar.php files, with the ones from this zip: http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/widgets.zip

Either way you look at it, there was some uglyness with the footer, if not Firefox, it was IE6. Here below are screenshots of the footer, in both IE6 and Firefox.

As for the search button, the search button is fine in Firefox, however… IE6 is another story sigh.. But, here are the screenshots of what I’m referring too.

As you can see on the demo blog now now, hopefully you’re viewing in both IE6 and Firefox…the “fixes” have been applied to the Default 1.5 theme. =) And check out a post in the “single post view”, you’ll notice that “all” the links are in the sidebar. =)

Hopefully, someone will take notice to this and add it to the next version of WordPress 2.0.4. =P It might just help cut down on tons of support requests in the “Support Forums”. =)

But please note: If you already have the Default theme in use, disable it and THEN upload the image folder and files over the existing ones in the default folder. You’re basically just replacing the Original ones, with these new ones.. Then re-activate it again.

Also, if you have Customized Default images, then only upload the php files and css file over the existing ones, and ALWAYS make a backup of your Custom Default themes. As for specific plugins, if you have the “call tags” for them in the current Default theme of your’s, save those files and just re-add them to this version.

Like I have said numerous of times before, this current theme I’m using is a piece of shit.. I mean for Christ’s Sakes, the god damn <h2>’s on this theme in IE6 are displayed so BIG that even the blind can read it!!

(Yeah, I know…if I really wanted to, I could just edit the CSS file and make the adjustments… Fuck that..I’m just doing up another whole theme for it… don’t like it, lick my nuts.. I actually have it fixed on the vindictivebastard.com version, I’m just too lazy to fix it up on the “live” version lol!! )

I’m also getting tired of seeing the stupid ass header image..day in and day out… Just the theme itself is getting tiresome. Well, that’s going to change here soon, well hopefully soon..

I’m still working on the theme on the vindictivebastard.com, using Xammp Lite, and I’m just implementing the theme around a current copy of the online blog, except it’s on the vindictivebastard.com (offline).. This way it will be easier on me to do adjust things and see how things will look at the time.

It’s coming along pretty good I think.. only real problem I have is, coming up with a “logo”, and making it look nice.. Being that I don’t have Photoshop no more, and I’m stuck using shitty Forrest GIMP..to make images with.

Oh well, fuck it. It still should be atleast 9 times better then this one lmao!! I’ll keep you updated on it from time to time… That’s all, that’s it, no more shit.

P.S. Time to get back at working on the new theme and checking out this HOT chick’s pics! Hey..they motivate me hehe.. (And no…not that one I mentioned about it in the last post..) This one tops them all!

I’m not sure what the hell is going on around the world. But I thought I was badly deprived of some good holsome sex or porn before…Jesus Christ peoples!!

I’m getting TONS and TONS of incoming hits to my old porno gallery that I had up, before it was hacked to shit. Jesus Christ!, they are trying their hardest to find the images and shit.

They must think I still have all of them uploaded onto my server or something, cause all the links are to direct “locations” for the images. What do you people do, copy and paste the fucking image locations to a Text File or some shit, and bring them up directly… My God you horny fuckers!

Don’t worry you porn and sex deprived perverts, I’ll put a porn blog up then.. just give me some time.. If only I was getting paid to provide porn to the sexually deprived perverts!

I’m going to re-do this theme differently. Give it a lighter color, keep the comments closer together and some other things will be changed on it.

Hopefully, it will be a little easier to work with, then what’s there now.. =P I’m not sure when it’s going to be ready..but I’ll keep you updated.

I have now updated this again. As far as I know, since I’m not a “widget professional” or anything.. I have now made it “widget friendly” for the sidebar.php file and the functions.php file.

I’m not sure exactly if it’s “done” right or not, but..I downloaded this widgets plugin from here, and added the sidebar.php and functions.php file from that, into the default theme.

I also had fixed the archives, so when unzipping them, it doesn’t place the default folder, three folders in. I missed it before, but apparently…when unzipping it, it put it like this:
Desktop\default\default\default\

So now it’s like it’s supposed to be:
Desktop\default\default

I reuploaded the corrected archives now, the download links are the same of course.. I just wish they would add this to the next release of WordPress 2.0.4 lol. Well, even the orginal version, with the “fixes” applied would be great..
