Original blog theme is back again!

Thanks to Velimir from https://x1code.com he helped me get my original theme back working again. Normally he charges 1,000.00 for custom themes but only charged me $60.00. Which was a huge relief and a big help. Thanks again Velimir for getting my old theme back up and running again. I originally paid $250.00 for the theme and PSD years ago, when it worked on an older version of WordPress. When I used it on Imasshole.com, I had tweaked the color scheme for it, when I shouldn’t have. I should have left it alone. Anyway, if I have any more issues with it, I’ll get back to Velimir for help.

I’m Baaaack!

Welp, it’s almost been 12 long years now and I’m finally back again whoo hoo! I’ve come into the world as one ranting Vindictive Bastard and I’ll be leaving the world as one as well.

I’ve had many various domain names, as well as authors on this blog. But going to ride this ride out solo this time. It has also been a long time for me to get my original VindictiveBastard.com domain name back again too. I could re-register my other domains and have them all parked here too, but I’m not sure if it will make much difference.

Most know how to find me anyway so fuck it. The downside, I didn’t save database backups from previous blogs so I have lost a handful of older posts. I managed to recover a good bit though from Internet Archive which is good. Ah well.. fuck it I guess.

If anyone else can manage to recover them please send me an email of them. Or, if anyone has a database copy please send that as well. Email: smooeycom[at]gmail.com

Below are the posts I’m missing by month, days, and years. I think some were even Ravin’s old posts but I can’t remember because I was always a drunken bastard back then. Anyway…

It’s been a long time since I had a host and the blog so I have to get used to it all over again. Also WordPress changed a lot too since I’ve last used it. I also miss my old theme so I might to pay someone to code it or update it for me, ah well no biggie.

Another thing I have to do is go through posts, fixing urls, adding tags, etc too. Anyway, time for a beer! Tata!

I’ve decided it was time to go through the archives and remove alot of posts that really aren’t worth keeping around anymore. Well, most would think ALL of them aren’t worth keeping around, but, who gives a shit what YOU think anyway…

I also heard MOTHER was reading through my blog, sighing and bawling about the bullshit I wrote too, then going back around to family members telling them that I had written about them or whatever. It’s always nice to have remove the stuff you write, because it might hurt someone feelings, or just be the wrong thing to do…

Free speech is always shot down by someone, and having to “hide” your feelings, thoughts at a specific time, and yet having to change what you write from weeks, months, YEARS ago… is always a wonderful thing! NOT! It’s total bullshit… It’s like saying, “you’re not allowed to be YOU! You’re supposed to be what “WE” want you to be…” I’m sorry, but that’s just fucked up…

There was really NOTHING in my past posts that were that bad, especially regarding the family… I think I should include a PayPal donation button for a Sam’s Club sized box of tissues… Anyway, I will be removing alot of the more pointless posts though. Drama related and etc… Aight, I’m off to handle the business… tata!

Yes, some of the rants were written in a serious manner, but alot of the additional crap I added into the posts were mere sarcasm. Ask anyone that knows me personally (Ravin, imacrazybitch, or Jenn), that’s how I am in real life…

I wrote an update on Collegehumor.com an hour ago..

Yeah, so, I’ve had a link exchange with Collegehumor.com for a few good years now…

And figured, fuck it, I my as well give a little something back to them, besides just sending them “hits”. So, about two hours ago I joined their site, and then wrote an Update on their site.

Yeah, so I used one of my own articles, fuck it! I know it’s not the greatest one ever, but shit, at least it’s something that everyone deals with in their shitty life, and that’s shitty relationshits, I mean.. relationships..

Hopefully sometime today, or, tomorrow, it lands on their home page. But, I guess it’s just wishful thinking. Anyway, wish me luck! Now I must go, and do shitty community service this morning.. tata!!

UPDATE: Just found out now, because stupid me didn’t read the FAQ on submitting Updates LOL!.. that, you’ll have to write up a few updates first, and if the folks that go through them, reviewing them (your writing(s) .. like them, “they” will then convince the Admins of Collegehumor.com to add your writings on the front page of Collegehumor.com..

Looks like I better get writing, eh? And I guess the best thing to do is, NOT use articles from the VB blog lmao!

UPDATE: Just had done the upgrade, and everything went smoothly! Everything seems to be fine, if I find errors and shit, I’ll keep everyone posted, and, take care of things as new SVN Trunk files come through the WordPress SVN list. ;)

Just to let everyone know, I’ll be doing a blog upgrade here soon! If everything gets quirky, it’s because I’m doing the upgrade, just hang in there, things should be fine before you know it!

Since I didn’t have a new domain name before, I pretty much had to turn this blog into a mellow, blog.. unlike what it’s really supposed to be for.. sigh..

Anyways..I just wanted to let everyone know ahead of time, that the “better” posts from here.. will be moving to the new domain name.. and then the original posting style for this blog will be back to normal again.. That’s all, that’s it.. no more shit! Later ppls..
